Description

Scope: Completion of Well No 8 improvements including but not limited to the following: masonry block building, well pump, motor, controls, standby diesel engine generator and fuel tank, new piping, valves and appurtenances, concrete, electrical work, grading and paving, and arsenic treatment and backwash recovery system. The project is funded by the California Safe Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Program (SDWSRF) and American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) funds. Contractors will be required to comply with all requirements of the California prevailing wage provisions, the Davis-Bacon Act, the Buy American Iron, Steel and Manufactured Goods requirements, the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Participation requirements, all DBE good faith effort and other requirements of SDWSRF and ARRA.
