The project consists of rehabilitation of a regional domestic wastewater pump station. To accomplish the rehabilitation, Contactor will have to complete work items indicated on the Drawings and Specifications, including, but not limited to the following: *Replacement of the existing raw sewage pumps, piping, valves and appurtances as shown on the drawings. *Upgrade of the existing electrical & instrumentation system including a new P G & E pad mounted tramsformer, new service entrance equipment, new MCC, new VFDs, new diesel driven generator, new PLC, new float meters, new conduit / wires and other misc improvements. *Mechanical improvementsincluding repalcement of the head gate and hydraulic operator, replacement of the dry well sump pumps, installation of new wet well drain pumps, installation of new pump removal equipment, replacement of HVAC, and othe misc improvements, *Seismic retrofit to the Newark Pump Station superstructure including repalcement of the existing concrete double tee beams with a new metal deck and steel beams and misc masonry work for reinforcement of building corners. *Site improvements including installation of various yard piping, paving, and fencing. *Installation of a new bypass connection box and piping to facilitate bypassing Newark Pump Station. *Replacement of existing actuators for the isolation valves at Newark PS Influent & Effluent Valve Box. *Other misc improvements as shown & specified * Construct improvements while keeping Newark PS operational. *Misc improvements at the Irvington PS & Alvarado WWTP as shown on the drawings. |
