Internships
GSE’s internship program allows college students to explore their interests in the construction industry and put their classroom knowledge into practical experience. Interns at GSE Construction are given meaningful work so that they can accurately gauge their affinity for the water/wastewater industry. Project managers, superintendents, and project engineers openly share their knowledge with all interns to create a very collaborative environment. Interns can expect to get hands on experience with scheduling, submittals, RFIs, plan reading, specification reading, take offs, safety documentation, budgeting, and field management. While working on a project, our interns will simultaneously be attaining the OSHA 10. At the end of the internship, newer project engineers and interns gather in the California Bay Area to provide feedback to management, reflect on their experience and make lasting connections.
